LG Stylo 6 Hidden Apps – Hide Photos, Videos, Apps & Files

On your LG Stylo 6, you can hide apps, photos, videos, and other files from kids and prying eyes. Let’s also learn to unhide the hidden apps as per the below video and screenshots.

How to hide apps on LG Stylo 6

Long-Press an empty space on your Stylo 6 home screen and select “Home Screen Settings”.

When on the “Home Screen” page, select “Hide apps”.

Tick the apps you wish to hide.

Let’s hide the first row of apps including Audio Recorder, Calendar, Camera, Chrome & Clock.

You can see the “Camera” and “Chrome browser” app are no more on the home screen.

How to find hidden apps on LG Stylo 6

In the same manner, we can find the hidden apps on Stylo 6.

Long-Press the empty space on the Stylo 6 home screen.

Now, select “Home Screen settings”.

 

Choose “Hide apps” and look for the apps that are hidden.

Uncheck the apps you wish to unhide and select “Done”.

A confirmation text flashes at the bottom of the screen “0 apps hidden”.

 

All the 5 hidden apps are restored back.

How to hide photos & Videos on LG Stylo 6

Like, apps we can also hide photos and videos using the Gallery app.

Open the Gallery app located on your Stylo 6 home screen.

Tap the “3 dots menu icon” at the top-right corner and select “Show locked files” as shown below.

Before locking an image/video file, we need to set a PIN/Pattern and use a Google account.

Once done, open the file you wish to lock. I’ve opened the “Screenshots folder”.

 

I wish to lock the above screenshot file.

Click the 3 dots icon at the top-right corner and choose “Lock” as shown below.

This image file is locked and moved to the locked files folder. Go back to the first page of the Gallery app.

When on the first page of the gallery app, click the 3 dots menu icon and tap “Show locked files”.

Enter the PIN/Pattern to view the locked image/video files.

Tap the unlock icon to unhide the image/video file.

Select the files you wish to unhide and tap “Unlock”.

A confirmation text flashes at the bottom of the screen “Unlocked”.
