LG Stylo 5 MetroPCS Google Bypass Android 10 FRP unlock 2022

LG Stylo 5 is available in more than 10 different versions in the USA. Most of the Stylo 5 models are updated to Android 10 including the MetroPCS variant with model number lm-q720ms.

The below FRP bypass method should also work on all the Stylo 5 models running on Android 10.

You get to verify with the previously synced Google account when you hard reset the device using the volume down + power button. To complete the device setup, you either need the lock screen PIN/Pattern/Password or the previously synced Google account to reach the Stylo 5 home screen.

Let’s use the latest 2022 hack to bypass the FRP lock without using a computer  –

I had to reset my LG Stylo 5 device using the volume down + power keys to bypass the lock screen. I forgot the lock screen password.

The factory data reset took a few minutes and now I’ve reached the “Welcome” screen.

Let’s tap the forward button to proceed.

In the next step, you’ve to connect your Stylo 5 device to the internet.

My phone is now connected to the “Home Wifi” network.

After checking for updates, it brings me to the “Copy apps & data” page.

Click “Don’t copy” to skip this step.

Now, I’m stuck on the password verification screen. I either need the lock screen password or the previously synced Google account to proceed further.

Let’s use the latest 2022 hack to reach the Stylo 5 home screen as follows –

How to bypass Google FRP lock account verification on LG Stylo 5 without computer Android 10 MetroPCS lm-q720ms, T-Mobile q720ts, Stylo 5+ AT&T lm-q720am, Cricket q720cs

To bypass the Google verification, we need a locked SIM Card.

You can use any SIM card and any phone to lock this SIM.

I’m using an LG K40 phone to lock a MetroPCS SIM card.

We need to open the Settings app and then Go to “Lock screen & security”.

You can use any other phone for this task. You’ll find the lock SIM card option in the Settings app.

Now, click on “Set up SIM Card lock” > “Lock SIM card” as shown above.

It’s asking for the current SIM PIN. The default MetroPCS SIM PIN is 1234

The default SIM PIN is different for other carriers. You can search it in Google.

Enter the PIN code and click OK.

The SIM card lock is now enabled.

We need to insert this locked SIM in LG Stylo 5 device.

Use a SIM ejector tool to remove the Stylo 5 SIM tray.

Place the SIM Card in the respective slot as shown above.

You Stylo 5 will now ask for the SIM PIN.

Enter code 1234 and hit the tick icon.

Now, there is a “Not signed in” notification on the Stylo 5 screen.

Swipe down the screen starting from “Not signed in” towards the bottom of the screen.

On doing this, you get a few quick access icons on the top.

We have to long-press the Bluetooth icon to open this page.

Turn on Bluetooth on your Stylo 5.

Now, send an image from another device using Bluetooth.

I’ve opened the Gallery app on my LG K40.

Hit the “Share icon” to send an image file as shown above.

Choose the sharing medium as Bluetooth and “TURN ON” Bluetooth when prompted.

LG Stylo 5 is listed under available Bluetooth devices. Select “LG Stylo 5” to send the image file.

Now, check your LG Stylo 5 screen.

Hit “ACCEPT” to receive the Bluetooth file.

Now, tap the “3 dots icon” on the top and choose “Received files”.

Tap on the image file to open it.

We have to open the picture using the “Photos” app.

Select “Photos” to open this file.

Tap “ALLOW” when prompted.

Now, tap the “3 dots icon” on the top and select “Help & feedback”.

This will bring you to the “Support” page.

Click on the article – “Delete or restore your photos & videos”.

Now, click on “Give permissions to delete photos from your SD card”.

Tap the next link – “Learn how to check your Android version”.

On the following screen, scroll down and select – “Learn how to find and update your Android version”.

Again scroll down and choose – “Not enough space available”.

Under “Not enough space available” there are 2 options, choose the lower one i.e. “Other Android devices”.

Now, scroll down on the next page and choose “Learn how to uninstall apps”.

The current page is – “Delete or disable apps on Android”.

Look for the link – “Tap to go to Application Settings” and click on it.

This will bring you to the “App Info” screen.

Scroll down and select “Settings”.

Hit “Open” to launch the Settings app.

In Settings, click on “Fingerprints”.

Hit “Next” on the Fingerprints page.

Finally, we have reached the “Select Screen Lock” page.

Here we can change the screen lock.

We can set up a new Pattern, PIN, or Password to replace the old lock screen password.

Let’s choose the PIN option.

I’m adding 1234 as the new PIN lock.

Re-enter the PIN code and click “OK”.

We have successfully changed the screen lock.

Now, go back to the first page.

Hit the back button multiple times to reach the “Welcome” screen.

Hit the forward button to move ahead.

After checking for updates, it brings me to the “Copy apps & data” page.

Click “Don’t copy” to proceed further.

Instead of the screen lock PIN verification page, it directly took me to the “Google – Verify your account” screen. We need the “Verify PIN” screen to bypass the Google account.

The screen lock verification page can be restored with a hard reset. Let’s turn off the device to enter recovery mode.

Long-press the power button and choose “POWER OFF” to turn off your LG Stylo 5 device.

Once the phone is off, press & hold the volume down & power keys.

As soon as the LG Stylo 5 logo appears, release only the power button for a moment and hold it again. Do not leave the volume down key.

Now, keep holding both the buttons to enter Recovery Mode.

We are now on the “Factory Data Reset” page. This is also known as Recovery Mode.

Tap the volume down button to move from “No(Exit)” to “Yes”. Now, select “Yes” with the power button.

Again go down from “No(Exit)” to “Yes” and press the Power key to reset your Stylo 5 device.

The factory data reset will take a few minutes.

Afterward, it brings me to the “Enter PIN code” screen.

Verify with the PIN code 1234 and unlock the screen.

Click the forward arrow to move ahead.

Now, connect your device to a Wifi network.

Click “Don’t copy” when you reach the “Copy apps & data” page.

This time we get the “Verify PIN” screen. This page is restored after the factory data reset.

Enter the PIN code we set earlier i.e. 1234 and click “OK”.

We have successfully bypassed the Google account verification.

Use the “Skip” option to bypass the Google account sign-in.

Now, accept the Google services terms and conditions.

The last page of the Setup Wizard is “Legal Documents”.

Tick all the “I agree” checkboxes and click “DONE” to finish the setup wizard.

We have successfully landed on the LG Stylo 5 home screen thus bypassing the Google lock.

  1. when i get to the part that says tap to go to application settings the next screen only says network & internet and has a search bar at the top. i tried using the search bar and was able to get to various setting pages but none that are relevant. any option that would enable me to proceed takes me back to the network & internet page.
