FRP Bypass LG Stylo 6 2022 without PC New Update Google unlock

LG Stylo 6 is one of the most popular LG phones in the USA. However, it’s 2022 and it’s still not updated to Android 11. The cheaper LG K51 is running on Android 11 even though both the phones were released around the same time.

The newest update for LG Stylo 6 MetroPCS is the December 2021 security update with the software version Q730MM10Y. In this post, we are going to learn how to bypass the FRP lock on LG Stylo 6 running on the latest 2022 software.

The google verification on Stylo 6 shows up when your hard factory reset your phone using the volume down + power keys via the Recovery Mode.

Let’s use the latest & easiest 2022 hack to get past the Google lock on LG Stylo 6 without PC.

This method should work on all the LG Stylo 6 variants such as lmq730mm MetroPCS, q730tm T-Mobile, q730am Cricket, q730tm3 Sprint/Boost mobile, q730qm US cellular, q730vmw Verizon, q730qm6 Spectrum mobile, q730qm7 Factory unlocked, q730qm5 Xfinity mobile & q730qm0 US cellular

I had to hard reset my Stylo 6 using the volume down + power buttons. I forgot the lock screen password.

After the reset, I’ve landed on the “Welcome” screen. Let’s begin the device setup.

Hit the forward arrow and click “Next” on the “New Second Screen” page.

To proceed further, we need to connect our Stylo 6 to the internet.

My phone is now connected to the “Home Wifi” network.

After checking for updates, it brought me to the “Copy apps & data” screen.

To proceed further, I picked the “Don’t copy” option.

Now, we have reached the screen lock verification page. To get past this screen we either need the lock screen password or the previously synced Google account.

I don’t remember either of the two.

Let’s use the latest 2022 method to remove the FRP lock on LG Stylo 6 without a computer –

How to bypass Google lock FRP on LG Stylo 6 without computer 2022 lm-q730

To bypass the Google account, we need the keyboard.

Tap the blank space – “Email or Phone” to bring out the keyboard.

Now, hit the “small keyboard icon” at the bottom-right as shown above.

A Default keyboard window appears on the screen. Hit “Settings” to proceed further.

Now, you must be on the “Manage Keyboards” screen.

Select the first keyboard i.e. “Gboard”.

Tap the “3 dots icon” and then choose “Help & Feedback”.

Now, we are on the “Support” page.

Type delete in the search bar and select the first search result – “Delete or disable apps on Android”.

On the following screen, we need to click the link – “Tap to go to Application Settings”. You can refer to the above screenshot.

Now, we are on the “App Info” screen.

Scroll down and select “Settings”.

On the following page, hit “Open” to reach the Settings app.

Now, tap “Fingerprints” and then click “Next”.

You’ve got 3 options on the “Select Screen Lock” page – Pattern, PIN, & Password. We can choose any of these to replace the old lock screen password.

I’ve selected the PIN option.

Let’s set up 1234 as the new screen lock PIN code.

Re-enter the PIN and hit “OK”.

A confirmation text flashes at the bottom – “Screen lock has been changed”. Now, we are going to use this new PIN to bypass the Google lock.

Now, go back to the first page using the back button.

Reach the “Welcome” screen with the back button.

On the “Welcome” page tap the forward button to move ahead & click “Next” on the “New Second Screen”.

Hit “Don’t copy” on the “Copy apps & data” page.

It skipped the screen lock verification page and brought me directly to the “Google-Verify your Account” screen. With the “Verify PIN” option we cannot bypass the Google verification.

To restore that screen, we are going to hard reset the phone using the volume down + power keys.

Power off your Stylo 6 to enter the Recovery Mode.

When the phone is off, press & hold the volume down + power buttons.

As soon as the “LG Stylo 6” logo shows up, release only the power button for a moment and hold it again. Do not leave the volume down key.

Keep holding both the buttons to reach the “Factory Data Reset” page also known as Recovery Mode.

Now, press the volume button to go down from “No(Exit)” to “Yes”. Click the power button to select “Yes”.

Repeat the above steps. Go down from “No” to “Yes” and press the power button to reset your Stylo 6 device.

The factory reset takes a few minutes.

Afterward, we reach the “Welcome” page.

Click the forward arrow to proceed.

Connect your Stylo 6 to a Wifi network.

Tap “Don’t copy” when you reach the “Copy apps & data” page.

This time we get the “Verify PIN” screen. Enter the PIN code we set earlier i.e. 1234 and click OK.

The PIN verification is successful.

You can see there is a new “Skip” option on the Google sign-in page.

Skip the google account set up to move ahead.

Now, accept the Google services terms and conditions.

Hit “OK” on the following screen to reach the “Legal Documents” screen.

Tick all the “I agree” checkboxes on the “Legal Documents” page and hit “Done” to complete the setup wizard.

We have successfully landed on the LG Stylo 6 home screen.

Now, let’s check the current software version.

We need to open the Settings app and go to “System”.

Now, Go to “Update Center” > “System Update”.

You can see the system is up to date. It’s running the latest LG Stylo 6 software Q730MM10y with the Android Security Patch Level December 1, 2021

  1. I can’t get the PIN screen after reset. I’ve tried switching methods back and forth hard resetting after each one . Still can not get the PIN screen to come back….😞

    • Keep trying. Again change to a different screen lock and then hard reset the device. Sometimes it takes a few tries to restore the screen lock verification page.
