After the latest TCL security update, all the old FRP bypass tricks cease to work.
In this post, we are going to use the latest August 2023 method to bypass the Google account verification on all TCL Android 12 devices without a computer.
The Google FRP lock gets enabled when you hard reset the device using recovery mode. After the reset, to complete the setup we need to verify with the lock screen credentials or with the previously synced Google account.
Let’s use the latest hack to get past the Google verification screen on all TCL Android 12 devices as follows –
To bypass the lock screen on TCL Tracfone, I did a reset using Android Recovery.
After the reset, it brings me to the “Hi There” screen as shown above.
To reach the home screen we need to complete the device setup. Let’s click “START” to proceed.
Now, connect your device to the internet using Wifi or Mobile data.
After connecting to the internet, it brings me to the “Copy apps & data” screen as shown above.
Tap “Don’t copy” to move ahead.
The next page is “Verify Password”. To proceed further, we either need the lock screen password/pin/pattern or the previously synced Google account.
I do not remember either of the two.

To bypass the Google lock, move back from the Google verification screen to the first page.
We are again on the “START” screen.
Click on “Vision Settings”.
On the following screen, choose the last option – “Talkback”.
Enable Talkback with the “Use Talkback” button.
When it turns on, draw an opposite L on the screen. Draw towards right then up. Please refer to the above screenshot.
A permission request appears on the screen. Double-click “WHILE USING THIS APP”.
A new window appears – “Use voice commands to control Talkback”.
We need to launch Google Assistant using the voice command.
Double-tap “Use voice commands” and say Google Assistant.
The assistant window appears at the bottom.
Double-click the “keyboard icon” at the bottom to get access to the search box.
Now, we can disable Talkback.
Press and hold both the volume buttons for 3 seconds to enable the Talkback shortcut.
Again press and hold the volume keys until Talback is turned off.
Now, type open youtube in the search box. Choose the search result with the youtube icon to launch this app.
In youtube, hit the “user profile icon” in the top-right corner.
Now, go to “Settings” then “About”.
On the next screen, click on “Youtube Terms of Service”.
This brings me to the “Chrome app”. Hit “Accept & Continue”.
Click “No Thanks” to get access to the search bar.
Search the term “addrom bypass”.
Select the first result to reach the addrom website.
Now, look for “Screen Smartlock” and click on it.
Let’s try to add a new screen lock Pattern, PIN, or Password.
I chose the PIN option.
Type an easy PIN such as 1234.
Re-enter the PIN and hit confirm.
Either it does nothing & brings you to the same screen or the app crashes. We need to keep trying to set up the same PIN code.
If the app crashes, hit “Close app” and again go back to the “Screen Smartlock” page.
Go back and again open “Screen Smartlock” as shown above.
Choose the PIN option and enter the same PIN code 1234.
You need to keep trying until you see the above screen which says – “Keep your device unlocked while it’s on you”.
With a few tries you’ll get this option.
This confirms that the old screen lock is replaced with this new PIN code 1234.
Now, click on “Yes I’m In”.
We are all set.
Let’s move all the way back to the first page.
We are again on the “START” screen.
Click “START” to move ahead.
Hit “Don’t copy” on the next page.
We are now on the “Verify PIN” screen. You can see we replaced the lock screen password with this new PIN.
Verify with the PIN code we set earlier i.e. 1234.
We successfully bypassed the Google account verification.
Hit “skip” to bypass the screen lock setup.
Now, accept the Google services terms of conditions.
Skip the screen lock set up in the next step.
Skip the face unlock setup as well.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup wizard.
We successfully landed on the TCL Tracfone home screen thus bypassing the Google account verification without a PC.
